On Friday, Dec. 4, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., the Keystone community celebrates the Holiday Gathering at Hedgewood, hosted by Keystone College president Dr. Edward G. Boehm, Jr., and First Lady Regina Boehm. The Winterfest Ball student dinner-dance also takes place on Friday, Dec. 4, in Evans Hall.
Winterfest continues with Celebration of Lights on Monday, Dec. 7, beginning at 6 p.m. in Evans Hall. Members of the community are invited to attend this Keystone tradition as the college lights its holiday decorations. Guests can participate in a stroll through campus and an old-fashioned holiday sing-a-long. After caroling, everyone will have the opportunity to sample treats and visit with Santa and his helpers.
The activities continue on Wednesday, Dec. 9, from noon until 3 p.m. as members of the Keystone Sports Management and Recreation Team join with Home Instead Senior Care to wrap gifts for local senior citizens.
Also on Dec. 9 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Keystone First Lady Regina Boehm will host a holiday tea for the Keystone community at Hedgewood on campus.
Additional activities during December include a student holiday dinner, a campus-wide holiday decorating contest, the Weekender-La Plume Holiday Party and a variety of other campus events to help celebrate Winterfest 2009.
