Lackawanna Trail High School hosted its Second Annual Lion Cub Camp on Monday and Tuesday, July 26 and 27, for children ages 6 to 14. To teach players the fundamentals of football, campers received coaching on the fundamentals of blocking, tackling, solid football stance, using their power angles, stretching, agility, proper form, running technique and teamwork. The camp closed with a visit from guest speaker Morris Jackson, a 2002 graduate of Lackawanna Trail High School, and a two-time all-state selection, Hokey Reap Award winner and a former defensive lineman at East Stroudsburg University.
