Ruth Lee Lynady, Clarks Summit, died Tuesday, July 6, as a result of injuries sustained in a vehicular accident. She was the wife of William P. (Rex) Lynady. The couple had been married for 44 years.
Born in Clarks Summit, she was the daughter of the late Leon Harold and Lois Martha Tripp Mack. Prior to retirement, she was a waitress for various diners in the Abingtons. She was currently employed by the Buranich Family as a school bus driver. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post 7069, Clarks Summit. She enjoyed knitting, baking and especially her puppy, Pooh.
Surviving is her daughter, Lynn Viechec, and her husband, Gary, of Hazleton; two sons, Wesley W. Dunn, Jr., Mass., and W. Scott Dunn and his wife, Vivian, Marceline, Mo.; grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Justin and Ethan Dunn, Melissa Blasi and Doreen Masters; and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Mack.
A blessing service was to be held July 10 with services by Fr. Kevin Mulhern from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. To send an online condolence, visit .
