Residents, attorneys, title searches and others now have two online options to view documents filed at the Lackawanna County Recorder of Deeds Office, according to recorder of deeds Evie Rafalko-McNulty.
Both options use Landex Operating systems. Landex Web Access is a free method to access Recorder of Deeds documents that will satisfy most needs of the general public. Title searchers and others requiring more detailed reports can sign up for the Landex Remote Application, a paid service that charges 10 cents per minute and five cents per page for copies. To access the services, go to the Recorder of Deeds Web page at .
Landex will allow people to access the documents from the convenience of their home or office rather than force them to make a trip to downtown Scranton.
