RE/MAX agent earns top spot in region

Tim Meagher, a local real estate agent and Co-Owner of RE/MAX WAYNE in Honesdale had a record year in 2008 despite real estate market conditions, earning the top position for commercial real estate sales commissions in the RE/MAX Pennsylvania-Delaware Region.
Meagher ranked above more than 3000 RE/MAX agents in the Region, participating in 25 commercial real estate transactions this year, including the sale of three large commercial buildings on Main St. in Honesdale; the Marketplace, the Murray Building and Vails Gym.
In less than four years in the real estate business, Meagher has been a top-producing agent and has been named to the RE/MAX Platinum Club every year since joining RE/MAX in 2005 and is a member of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. He specializes in both residential and commercial real estate and services several counties in and around Honesdale.
Born and raised in Honesdale, Meagher graduated from Penn State University. After a career in corporate sales, Meagher returned to Honesdale to partner with his father, Paul Meagher, who started RE/MAX WAYNE nearly 20 years ago and has grown the business to almost 20 agents covering all of Northeastern PA. Tim Meagher is active in the community and is on the board of directors of the Wayne County YMCA and the Honesdale Area Jaycees. Meagher and his wife Heather, have two children, a daughter Sadie, 2 and a son Zachary, 1.
