The NEPA Region, American Red Cross Blood Services, has taken delivery of its first new bloodmobile in years. The quarter-million dollar, 40-foot bus was manufactured by Matthews Specialty of Greensboro, NC. The vehicle features five beds and state-of-the art blood collection technology. It is currently at the NEPA Blood Region facility in Ashley being prepped for its inaugural blood drives, beginning at the start of year, if not sooner.
