James F. Peoples, 72, of Dalton, died Friday morning, Oct. 17 in the VNA Hospice Unit at Community Medical Center in Scranton. Born in Schultzville, son of Francis and Margaret Lubeck Peoples, he served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a resident of Falls Twp. for the past 20 years. Prior to moving to Falls, he was a self employed mechanic in Stoughton Massachusetts. He was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are three sons Carl, Wharham, MA; Dennis, Stoughton MA; and Arthur, Taunton, MA; two daughters Jennifer Gaffney, Stoughton, MA and Francine Bishop, Wherthem, MA; three brothers Gerald, Dalton; Robert, Factoryville, and William, Factoryville; one sister Patricia Crouse, Clarks Summit and ten grandchildren.
