Ride for Food, to support local food pantries, is set for August17, with a rain date of August 24. There will be a 1 p.m. sign in and at 1:30 p.m. the ride begins. Meeting place is Our Lady of the Snows Church, at 301 South State Street in Clarks Summit.
The cost for the event will be $10 per bike, $15 if carrying a passenger. Anyone willing to ride their motorcycle or street legal scooter is welcome.
The Route will take riders though Tunkhannock and back to Our Lady of the Snows Church in Clarks Summit.
