In its first year, the Science Olympiad team at Abington Heights Middle School recently earned two second place and two fourth place medals at a competition against 25 other regional schools at Penn State Wilkes-Barre. Co-coach Steve Lott said the science-based competition gives students an opportunity to participate on a team in something that they excel in and enjoy.
