James McAllister, 70, of Lenoxville, died Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 2 at Mercy Hospital in Scranton. He was the husband of the former Mary Wagner.
Born in Carbondale, son of the late James McAllister and the late Gerald and Edna Blickens Coggins, he was employed as a driver for Tuzze Trucking for over 40 years. He was a resident of Lenoxville for 17 years, prior to that living in Carbondale. He was a member of the Carbondale United Methodist Church.
James was a loving husband and wonderful father who had a great love for animals. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Also surviving are two sons, Carl and wife Constance, Finch Hill, and John, Lenoxville; one daughter Deborah Cieszkowski, and husband Joseph, Carbondale, three brothers, George, Schenectady NY, Lewis, Binghamton NY, and Gaylord, NJ. And 10 grandchildren
Funeral Service will be private at the convenience of the family.
