MetroAction, The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce, and The Great Valley Technology Alliance announce the search is on for the next Young Entrepreneur. The Young Entrepreneur Award, sponsored by Bank of America, highlights the success of young business owners in Lackawanna County.
For the past eight years, this award has been presented to young entrepreneurs between the ages of 13 and 30. In addition, the entrepreneurs owned a for-profit business in Lackawanna County and had at least three clients. The winners also received a cash prize of $750 to put towards their businesses and recognized at the MetroAction Small Business Luncheon.
In 2007, Danielle Fleming of Danielle and Company was the recipient of the Young Entrepreneur Award for her great efforts in entrepreneurialism, community involvement, and dedication to the development of her business.
