Frances C. Lewis, Scott Twp., died Friday, Sept. 12, in her home. She was the widow of Lloyd G. Lewis who died in December of 2006.
Born in Clarks Green, daughter of the late Lawrence and Ethel Green Clark, she was a resident of Scott Twp. most of her life. Prior to retirement she was employed at the former Grove Textile Co. in Scranton as a payroll clerk and at the former Summit Westlake Shop in Clarks Summit as a sales clerk. She attended Mt Bethel Baptist Church. She had a passion for painting and studied under Hope Horn. Surviving are a daughter, Lisa Tizzoni and her husband, Leo, Scott Twp.; two sisters. Jane Pitman, Scranton and Margaret Pry, Dania Beach, FL; two grandsons, Stephen and his wife, Bria, Jersey City and Mark, Leeds, England.
A funeral was to be held on Tuesday from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit with services by Rev. Donald Hasselman, pastor of the Mt. Bethel Baptist Church.
