CS Elementary student donates to Locks of Love

Daughter of Margaret Maurer and Paul Sokalsky, April Sokalsky, 8, a student at Clarks Summit Elementary School, recently donated hair to Locks of Love. Her parents said she grew her hair specifically to donate. Her donation totaled 11 inches.
Her hair was cut by beautician Trisha Beck of Secrets Salon in Taylor.
Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. For information, call toll free 888- 896-1588 or visit locksof love.org.
