Ann M. Dougherty

Ann M. Dougherty, S. Abington Twp., died Thursday, Sept. 25, at Hospice Community Care in Dunmore. She was married to Joseph A. Dougherty; the couple celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on July 16.
Born in Dunmore, daughter of the late Thomas J. and Helen Duffy Morgan, she was a resident of Chinchilla for the past 43 years and prior to retirement she was a Technician for R.C.A. and Thompson Electronics for 20 years as well as Diversified in Scranton for 10 years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church in Clarks Summit.
Also surviving are four sons, Mark T., and his wife, Jeannie, S. Abington Twp.; Gerard, and his wife, Renee, S. Abington Twp.; Michael, Bridgeton, NJ and Paul, S. Abington Twp.; a daughter, Sharon Duffy, Clarks Summit; a brother, Robert Morgan, NJ; grandchildren, Erin, M.J., Jamie, Jennifer, Gordon, Sara, Kelsey, Alyssa, Rachel, and Patrick, five great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph and two brothers Jack and Thomas.
A Mass of Christian burial was to be held from Our Lady of the Snows Church, Clarks Summit. Interment will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Waverly. Arrangements from the Lawrence E.
