Late last year, Governor Edward G. Rendell signed new legislations which allow 16- year- olds in Pennsylvania to donate with parental consent. It is currently allowed by law in 17 other states. The kick off began in Lackawanna County on March 3 at Abington Heights High School. The first two 16 year old donors were David Cochrane and Christiana Gianzanti.
