My family was thrilled to see in the December 26 issue of the Journal on Page 1, a picture of two of the four wooden deer we have as decorations around our house. Unfortunately, the next day we found that someone took one of the homemade deer, which we had displayed for many Christmas seasons in the past.
If any Journal readers see a recently arrived deer, about 18 inches high, white with black trim and a moveable head, please contact us or the Journal. It is easily identified.
We are sorry to see that someone made the season of giving a season of taking. If the person who took it is reading this and feels some regret, please return the deer, in the true spirit of the season.
