Green days take place

The Clarks Summit Shade Tree Committee and the Clarks Green Shade Organization celebrated Arbor Day with their second annual joint Arbor Day celebration on Saturday, April 26. Clarks Green has received a plaque from the Tree City USA Awards for planting 206 trees in the last two and a half years. New trees are planted outside the Clarks Summit Fire Station, where this event occurs. Visitors included Smokey the Bear and the Clarks Green Tiger Cub Scouts Pack 251.
