Marywood University, Scranton, has been awarded $125,000 from the George I. Alden Trust.
In addition to the changes proposed in the core curriculum classrooms, a Digital Media Lab will be established.
The George I. Alden Trust gives priority to higher education, predominantly in support of independent, undergraduate education in smaller institutions with full-time traditional enrollments of 1,000 to 3,000 students. The trust focuses its support on institutions in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and the six New England States.
