Harold W. Hildebrand, Factoryville, died Thursday, Feb. 14, at V.N.A. Hospice in the Community Medical Center. His widow is the former Gertrude Zimmerman.
Born in Clifton, NJ, he was the son of the late William and Minnie Ronner Hildebrand. He was a resident of the Factoryville area for the past 35 years. Prior to retirement, he was a salesman for Raybeston-Manhatten in Passic, NJ and also an Agent for Metropolitan Life in Chinchilla. He was an Army-Air Corp Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Hop Bottom, where he served as an Elder, as well as a member of the Tunkhannock American Legion. Also surviving are two daughters, Sandy Dixon, Factoryville and Karen Thompson, Mine Hill, NJ; four sons, Barry, Succasunna, NJ, Glenn, Kenvil, NJ, Craig, Gibson and Bruce, Factoryville; a sister, Dorothy Dyk, Phenoix, AZ; 13 grandchildren and two nephews.
A memorial service will be held on February 23 at 11a.m. from the Grace Lutheran Church, 26 Greenwood St., Hop Bottom PA 18824, with services be the Rev. Kim Bode.
