The Lackawanna Branch, PA Association for the Blind (PAB) was recently awarded full accreditation by the National Accreditation Council for Agencies Serving People with Blindness or Visual Impairment (NAC).
Based in Ohio, the NAC is the only organization in the United States that exclusively accredits schools, agencies and programs serving people who have visual impairments.
After a self-study by the PAB, a NAC representative conducted an on-site inspection of physical facilities and a review of written policies and supporting documentation.
