Glenburn Township will hold its annual spring cleanup on Friday and Saturday, May 14 and 15. Residents are asked to place cleanup items curbside for door-to-door pickup by 5 a.m. May 14. They will be picked up either Friday or Saturday at the discretion of our contractor. Metals must be kept separate from other items.
Items that will not be picked up include: regular household trash, recyclables, grass or leaves, noncompactable items such as brick, block and concrete, cast iron, auto parts, tires, batteries, motor oil or lubricants, paint, paint thinners or turpentine, pesticides, hazardous, noxious, caustic, or acid chemicals, asbestos, metal drums, propane tanks, oil/gas containing items, explosives of any type including gun loading materials.
Refrigerators/freezers/air conditioners must be certified Freon free with a tag containing the technicians ID number and dated. Dried up paint cans will be collected. For details, contact the Township Secretary at 570.563.1177.
