Helen Morgan Gow, formerly of Fleetville, died Saturday, March 31, at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. She was the widow of Harrison Gow, who died March 1, 1982.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Owen and Alma Pickering Morgan. She had lived in the Fleetville and Waverly area for more than 60 years before moving to Ellicott City, MD almost five years ago. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Abington, in Waverly, for more than 50 years.
Surviving are a daughter, Penny Gow Zimring and her husband Dr. Michael Zimring, Ellicott City, MD.; a brother, Floyd Morgan and his wife Alberta Morgan, Clarks Summit; and nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held on Thursday, April 5, at 10 a.m. from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, with services by Rev. James Belt. Interment will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Waverly.
Friends may call on Wednesday, April 4, from 6-8 p.m.
