Sharlet S. Vosburg, Dalton, died Friday at the Moses Taylor Hospital Hospice Unit. She was the widow of Jack Vosburg, who died in 1974.
Born in Forty Fort, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth Strech. She had been a resident of the Abington area for the past 45 years. Prior to retirement, she was a cafeteria worker for the Abington Heights School District and a caregiver at Lourdsmont. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Clarks Summit and the Lackawanna Kennel Club. She was also an active volunteer for the Humane Society of Lackawanna County.
She is survived by a son, Drake. S., Meshoppen; two daughters, Jean W. Gacono, Cleona, Shardi Algia, Battle Creek, MI; three grandchildren, Owen and Olivia Vosburg and Toyo Otsha.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 22 at 11a.m. from the Trinity Lutheran Church, 205 West Grove St., Clarks Summit, with services by Rev. George Mathews, pastor.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
