Hyndshaw joins Abington Christian Academy faculty

The Abington Christian Academy Board of Governors has announced the appointment of Jami Hyndshaw as Kindergarten teacher.
Hyndshaw holds a bachelor of science degree in psychology with a minor in elementary education from Virginia Commonwealth University. This December she will complete her master of arts degree in teaching from Marywood University. She belongs to Kappa Delta Pi, a National Honor Society for Educators. Eventually, Hyndshaw would like to pursue a second certification in special education or reading specialist.
A native of Richmond, VA, Hyndshaw operated a home-based childcare center for several years. She also was a substitute teacher in the King William County public school system. This past year, she worked as a substitute teacher while she was earning her graduate degree.
Hyndshaw and her husband, Chad, reside in Nicholson with their three children, Macayla, Haley and Aubrey.
