Jeff Lysak, 40, Ransom Twp., died Wednesday, May 9, due to injuries sustained during a motorcycle accident. His wife is the former Tina Thomas. They would have been married eight years in July.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of Linda Kolos, Moscow and the late Gene Lysak. He was a resident of Ransom Twp. for the past nine years and was employed at Schott North American, Duryea for the past ten years.
He was a member of the Country Alliance Church, Newton Twp. Jeff was a selfless man and a man of great kindness. He always put others first. He gave so much of himself to others, their needs were greater than his own. He was quick with a story, making others smile was his joy. He was loved and admired.
Also surviving are a son, Mike Thomas, Ransom Twp.; a brother, Richard, Exeter; two sisters, Patti Telesk, Carbondale and Paula Slocum, Jessup; a stepfather, Gene Koloc, Moscow; a niece, Nicole Thomas; two nephews Jesse and Tyler Telesk.
A funeral was held on Monday from the Kiesinger Funeral Home, 255 McAlpine St., Duryea, with services by Rev. Gary Gilpin. Interment will be in Milwaukee Cemetery.
