On Friday, Oct. 5 and Thursday, Oct. 11, Fire Prevention Programs will take place at the Abington Heights Middle School and South Abington Elementary School respectively. Fire fighters will be on hand to provide equipment demonstrations and offer vehicle tours for students. Middle School, Oct. 5: Grade 5, 8:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.; Grade 6, 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.;
Grade 7, 11:05 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.; Grade 8, 12:30 p.m. to 1:10 p.m. South Abington Elementary School, October 11, 1:40 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
