Country Alliance Church, 14014 Orchard Drive in Newton (across from the Red Barn Village) will be taking orders for Angel Food Ministries this week on Thurs. Nov. 29 from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1 from 12 to 2 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 2 from 12 to 3 p.m. Cash, money orders or food stamps are accepted. Angel Food Ministries provides groceries at a savings of $25 per box. There are no income guidelines and everyone qualifies. Rib-Eye steaks; (1) 2 lb. family lasagna dinner; (1) 2 lb. split chicken breast (2 pieces); (1) 1 lb. honey roasted pork sausage; (1) 1 lb. fully cooked chicken breast fajitas; (1) 1 lb. fully cooked meatballs; (1) 1 lb. all meat jumbo hot dogs; (1) 3 lb. fresh apples; (1) 8 oz. biscuit mix; (1) 1 lb. three-way veggie mix; (1) 1 lb. cut corn; (1) 1 lb. sliced carrots; (1) 14 oz. chicken broth; (1) 24 oz. homestyle hash brown; (1) 6.5 oz. cheeseburger dinner; (1) 10 ct. homestyle waffles; (1) dessert item.
Special boxes may be purchased after one regular box is ordered.
