Abington Heights Summer Learn to Swim Program is held at the High School pool and is offered to children 4 and up by instructors who have proper certification and years of competitive swimming and diving backgrounds.
Swimmers may participate in competitive swim, a ten day, two hour course for swimmers with advanced abilities and skills. Or Levels I to IV where at the first class meeting, students will be evaluated and placed into one of four levels in accordance with their skills. Also available is a class for Preschool Water Acclamation, a half hour class designed for beginner swimmers with little or no swim experience. Preschool classes have limited space and fill up quickly.
The third session runs from Monday, July 23 until Friday, August 3, all classes are offered during this last session. Cost for each preschool and Levels I to IV session is $45 and competitive is $60, out of district residents add $10 per registration.
