The Pennsylvania Conservation Corps (PCC) is seeking young people who want to earn money while serving their community and learning about careers in museum studies. Workers are currently needed for a collections care project underway at the Anthracite Heritage Museum in Scranton.
PCC corps members are men and women between the ages of 18 and 25. They complete conservation, recreation and historical preservation projects on public lands throughout the state. Corps members are offered a one-year term of service and may be extended for up to two additional six-month terms.
Those interested can visit their local PA CareerLink or call crew leader Eric Casey at 963-4804.
