Lois J. Williams, South Abington Twp., died Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Moses Taylor hospital. She was the widow of Chester H. Williams, who died October 25, 2006. They were married for 58 years.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Florence Titman Hepplewhite. She was a resident of the Abington area for more than 45 years. She was the co-owner of the former Pleasant View Motel in Glenburn.
She was a member of the Clarks Summit United Methodist Church. Lois was a loving mother and grandmother.
Surviving are three daughters: Beverly Jean Cruz, Rocky Mount, NC; Linda Marie Modzelesky, S. Abington Twp.; Cathy Ann Beck, Newton Twp.; a son, Chester H. Williams Jr., Newton Twp.; a brother, Herbert Hepplewhite, Woodbury Heights, NJ; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family by Rev. Judy Wanck, pastor of the Clarks Summit United Methodist Church.
Arrangements by the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
