Clarence B. Rozelle, Clarks Green, died Thursday, August 9, at the Hospice Unit of Mercy Hospital. His wife is the former Jane Bradshaw and they were married 54 years last May 23.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Clarence and Ruth Pelham Rozelle. He has been a resident of Clarks Green for the past 44 years. Prior to retirement, he was a car salesman for Gateway Ford in Tunkhannock for many years. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Clarks Green United Methodist Church.
Clarence was an avid bowler.
Also surviving are two sons: Richard and Warren Rozelle, both of Clarks Summit; a sister, Blanche Jones, Manasses, VA and four grandchildren, Geoffrey, Holly, Laura and Warren Rozelle.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Pelham Rozelle.
A funeral was held on Monday, August 13 from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, with services by Rev. Lori Steffensen, pastor of the Clarks Green United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Clarks Green Cemetery.
