The Lackawanna Historical Society will present “Postcard Views of the Lackawanna Valley,” opening Sunday, July 15 at 2 p.m. at the Catlin House, 232 Monroe Ave., Scranton. The exhibit includes 10 original photographs of the valley taken by five local photographers and represent images that will be used to create new postcards to promote local heritage.
The project was supported by a Lackawanna County Arts and Cultural Grant and Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts. Postcard prints will be available in the Fall, but orders can be taken at the opening of the exhibit.
