For the past 15 years, Marywood University has been promoting books and reading through its bi-annual book swap. The University’s fall book swap will take place Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the Fireplace Lounge in Marywood’s Nazareth Student Center.

In the age of Nooks, Kindles and other digital reading devices, Marywood’s book swap continues to thrive. Those who still long to turn an actual page can swap old books for new ones or purchase books ranging in price from 50 cents to one dollar. Admission is free.

A wide selection of titles and genres, including digital books, will be available. All proceeds will benefit university-related initiatives. The book swap is sponsored by Lambda Iota Tau (The International English Honor Society) and Marywood’s Library Services staff.
