Joseph Badalamente Sr., Clarks Summit, died Thursday, Dec. 6, at Abington Manor Nursing Home. His wife is the former Josephine Cillarato.
Born in New York, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ida Badalamente. He has resided at Abington Manor for the past two years and has lived in the Clarks Summit area since 1984. Prior to retirement, he was a manager for an Asphault Plant in Flushing, NY. He was a World War II Veteran during the European Theater and a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church, Clarks Summit.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great- grandfather. The family would like to thank the staff of Abington Manor for all of their love, care and understanding.
Also surviving are a son, Joseph Badalamente Jr. and his wife, Sandra, Factoryville; two grandsons, David and Kevin Badalamente both of Clarks Summit; four great- grandchildren, Amanda, Nicholas, Madison and Molly; a brother, Frank Badalamente, MI; a sister, Connie Pegano, FL.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Sam and Peter Badalamente.
A blessing service was held on Saturday, Dec. 8 from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment will be in Abington Hills Cemetery.
