Malgorzata Margaret Berger, 51, Clarks Summit, died Sunday, Nov. 4, at her home with her family at her side. She was the wife of Dr. Wojciech Andrew Berger.
She was born in Kutno, Poland and was the daughter of Maria Bednarek Paszek, Poznan, Poland and the late Wladyslaw Paszek.
She had lived in the area since 1998 and was an accountant for Fru-Con. She received her MBA from Drexel.
Also surviving are a daughter, Agatha Berger, a medical student at Thomas Jefferson Medical School; a son, Martin Berger, at home; a brother Tomasz Paszek, Poznan, Poland.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snows Church, S. State St., Clarks Summit to be celebrated by Rev. Vincent Conti, Vice President of Scranton Prep.
Family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society (either Research, Hospice Care and/or Pastoral Care.)
