Lackawanna County Commissioner Robert C. Cordaro meets with Bruce Smallacombe, Lackawanna County Director of Roads and Bridges at the temporary bridge on Bridge Lane, Newton Township. According to Smallacombe, the bridge will be open next week. A permanent bridge is being replaced by FEMA and the process for replacement, design permits and bidding is underway.
