Local restaurants are preparing their specialties for the Seventh Annual Festival of Trees party. The event will be held on Friday, Nov. 30, at the Electric City Trolley Museum, 300 Cliff St., Scranton, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling the Trolley Museum at 963-6590. Tickets are $25.
The public can visit The Festival of Trees through January 5, daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Festival of Tress is a celebration of the holiday season when non- profit organizations, school groups and local business set up sponsored holiday trees to show their creativity. Prizes and trophies are awarded.
