Dennis Donovan, a student at the Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County, is the recipient of a $10,000 scholarship from the Pennsylvania Automotive Association (PAA) Foundation. Donovan will receive $5,000 per year to fund his first two years of post-secondary education.
The PAA awarded $200,000 in scholarships to 21 students across the state. Award winners were required to be enrolled in an accredited two or four-year college or university or a post-secondary automotive training program. The students needed a grade point average of 2.5 or higher with intentions to enter the automotive industry in the future.
