Francis H. Peoples, 94, Glendale, died Monday evening at Tyler Memorial Hospital. He was the widower of Mary Chamoni Peoples who died in December of 1993.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late William and Helen Wal Peoples. Prior to retirement, he was self employed as a truck driver and a farmer. He was a member of the Schultzville United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Crouse, Clarks Summit; four sons: Gerald F., Lake Winola; Robert, Factoryville; William, Factoryville and James, Lake Carey; a stepson, Patrick Lally, VA; a sister Marion Farischon, Clarks Green; 25 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Arthur Peoples and a grandson, William Peoples.
A funeral was held March 22 from the Lawrence E. Young funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit with services by Rev. Barbara Pease, pastor of the Schultzville United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Glendale.
