The Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple recently announced Paul Wendolowski of Newton Township as its new board president. Wendolowski has served on the Scranton Cultural Center’s Board of Directors since 2007 and has served as Treasurer as well as First and Second Vice President.

In addition to his years of service with the SCC, Wendolowski is active in many other organizations including the Keystone College President’s Advisory Council, Newton Township Zoning Appeals Board, Country Club of Scranton, Scranton Club, Victor Alfieri Society and a Past Commodore (2010-2011) of the Scranton Canoe Club. He has also been involved with the Lackawanna County Planning Commission, Broadway Theatre League of NEPA, Children’s Advocacy Center, Spojnia Credit Union, Planning Committee for the Scranton Mayor’s Annual Prayer Breakfast and the Annual Gala Committee of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Wendolowski and his wife, Catherine have two children, Paul and Carolyn. He is a retired executive with United Parcel Service where he worked as an air coordinator. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, cars and working on his farm.
