The Abington Business and Professional Association (ABPA) will hold its annual Home for the Holidays Open House Weekend Nov. 21-23 in downtown Clarks Summit. During the event, local businesses will open their doors for holiday shopping, featuring complimentary goodies and beverages in addition to store specials.

The event schedule is as follows:

Friday, Nov. 21:

  • Complimentary refreshments and children’s face painting with Happy Faces, 5 to 7 p.m. at the Clarks Summit Borough Building
  • Carolers throughout town beginning at 5:30 p.m.
  • Lighting of the Community Tree, 6 p.m. at Citizens Savings Bank
  • Lighting of the lights, 7 p.m. at the downtown clock tower area

Saturday, Nov 22:

  • “Gifts that Give Back,” 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the Gathering Place at the Clarks Summit Borough Building
  • Visit with Olaf from “Frozen,” approximately 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. throughout town (children will receive a gift)
  • Photos with Olaf and Amanda Krieg Photography, 1 to 2 p.m. at the Clarks Summit Borough Building
  • Children’s Craft with Abington Art Studio, 12 to 2 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. at the Clarks Summit Borough Building
  • Visit with Elsa from “Frozen,” 4 to 5 p.m. at Sole to Soul
