SCRANTON — Fidelity Bank recently presented the Scranton Cultural Center Creative and Performing Arts Academy with a check for $15,000 through the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC). The EITC provides a way for local businesses to invest in arts education in the region.
The SCC’s Creative and Performing Arts Academy provides education in the creative and performing arts to young children, teens and adults in an environment that honors achievement, creativity and personal growth, regardless of their ability or resources. Its goal is to nurture and inspire a lifelong love and appreciation of the creative and performing arts and provide unique opportunities for cultural exchange and community understanding.
