The Cadette Girl Scouts from Clarks Summit Troop 50273 are collecting items for the homeless during the Abington Arbor Day Celebration at the Clarks Summit Fire Hall, 321 Bedford St., from 2 – 4 p.m. on Sunday April 27.

The girls are collecting items such as used backpacks, socks of all sizes, gently used clothing, coloring books and crayons, personal hygiene products, and non-perishable food items such as canned tuna, kid-friendly cereals, jelly or jam, honey, sugar, flour, canned soups, and dried pasta.
