Wylie elected to post at AHCA

The American Health Care Association (AHCA) elected Michael Wylie, of Clarks Green, to its Board of Governors. Wylie was named secretary-treasurer at the AHCA Annual Convention on Oct. 8 by the association’s governing body, the Council of States.

Wylie currently serves as the Vice President of Development at Genesis HealthCare, a provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitation care, in Kennett Square. He also served as chairman of the board of directors at the Pennsylvania Health Care Association.

Originally from Portsmouth, N.H., Wylie resides in Clarks Green with his wife, Denise, and daughter, Sara. His mother, Rebecca Wylie, resides in Portsmouth.

In his role as AHCA Board Secretary-Treasurer, Wylie is responsible for overseeing the financial position of AHCA and providing regular updates to Council of States, Board of Governors and Executive Committee. Among his many other Board charges, Wylie is responsible for assuring adherence to all adopted fiscal policies and procedures and serves as Chair of the Business Management Committee.
