UNICO Scranton holds photography exhibit, celebrates new sister city

    The Scranton Chapter of UNICO National, in conjunction with the Pro Loco “I Longobardi” of Guardia dei Lombardi, Italy, will host a photography exhibit featuring immigrants from Guardia dei Lombardi residing in Lackawanna County. A part of Scranton’s First Friday December activities, it will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Seeley Memorial Library at Lackawanna College.

    The event will also include a formal sister city declaration between Scranton and Guardia dei Lombardi by Mayor William Courtright.
