The Thomas G. Cupillari ’60 Astronomical Observatory fall program, begins Sept. 10 at 7:30 p.m. and will continue each Wednesday and Friday evening through Friday, Nov. 14. Healthy Kids: Reflexology for Children with Gloria Mathieson, at Abington Community Library, 4:30 – 6 p.m. The second part of this series discusses hyperactivity or sluggish behavior, which can make times difficult for both the parent and child. Techniques cover areas of the body that relate to it all. For adults and children ages 3-12.

Awareness and Acceptance of a Dementia Diagnosis, with Janine Starinsky, at Abington Community Library, 5 – 6 p.m. This event will provide ideas for programs and visiting a loved one, help better understand types of programs and ideas to be offered by staff, family members and friends and help to understand the importance of providing quality of life and eliminating boredom.
