Marywood University’s women’s lacrosse team is sponsoring a Jack-O-Lantern 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, Oct. 25. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Center for Athletics and Wellness and the race begins at 9:30 a.m. The cost to participate in the race is $15 and includes a t-shirt.
Participants are encouraged to dress in their favorite Halloween costume. Gift baskets will be awarded to the two best costumes. A portion of the proceeds from the race will be donated to the St. Francis of Assisi Soup Kitchen, Scranton.
