Chef Joseph Caputo will take the stage for this month’s installment of “the Menu” at 7 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple. Caputo will present “Fall Farm to Table,” featuring an array of flavors culminated from a perfect mixture of fall ingredients.

“I believe in the importance of seasonal cooking,” said Caputo in a news release. “Seasonal ingredients and what they can offer up to the table should be used to our advantage in the kitchen.”

On the menu will be a salad course of red beet with gorgonzola, walnuts and green goddess dressing. For the dinner course, Caputo will prepare a vegetarian Moroccan stew using eggplant, butternut squash and spices like cumin, coriander and curry.

Attendees will receive samples of the food prepared and a cash bar and light fare will be available for purchase throughout the evening. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the Fidelity Bank Box Office at the Scranton Cultural Center in person, by calling 570-344-1111, or via all applicable Ticketmaster outlets.
