Michael J. Raymond, Ph.D., Director, Clinical and Forensic Neuropsychology and Clinical Director of the Brain Injury and Sports Concussion Program at Allied Services Integrated Health System, Heinz Rehab Hospital, was awarded the 2014 Lifetime Achievement Award by the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology (ABN).
The award was presented by Dr. Arthur MacNeill Horton, Chair, The Awards Committee, at the Annual National Academy of Neuropsychology Conference, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Nov. 12-15. It was presented in recognition of Raymond’s leadership and service to the ABN and clinical neuropsychology.
Raymond, a resident of Drums, is a leading researcher and expert in the field of cognitive development, brain injury and a certified ImPACT Test concussion specialist.
He served as Director of Clinical and Forensic Neuropsychology and Clinical Director of the Brain Injury Program and Sports Concussion Program at Heinz Rehab for the past 26 years. He lectured both nationally and internationally and authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications related to neuropsychological assessment, forensic neuropsychology, traumatic brain injury, brain injury rehabilitation and other neurological disorders.
