One activity to consider doing during the summer is volunteering for those in need in your community. Check for any volunteering opportunities in your area, or just call a local nursing home, community center, animal shelter, or other non-profit to see if they need any help. This is an amazing way to show you care about your community and it also looks great on a high school resume. So, it is a win-win opportunity.
